The most important thing about sucessfully rocking the jumpsuit is to find one that not only flatters, but flaunts your lovely lady lumps.

If you are long and lean and a little beanpole-y like me, look for pieces that are cinched at the waist and have a harem/tapered leg. To create the illusion of curvaciousness, belt it out at the waist. This allows for a look that is more Perfect 10 and less No. 2 (pencil).

For the girls with curves, play up your hourglass figure in a flirty romper with feminine details.  I absolutely love this coral Topshop number with its trendy asymmetrical shoulder and sassy splash of ruffles. I’m thinking bejeweled flat sandals for day and tons of metallics for night. Talk about workin’ 9 to 5.

What is most Studio54-fab about this throwback style is its availability at any price point. Whether you’re down to your last Jackson or all about the Benjamin’s (baby), you can get in on this trend.

Shopbop styles by Rachel Pally or Alice+Olivia may cost you big bucks, but they will deliver even bigger style.  Fashion-Faithful Forver21 has styles ranging from beach chic to evening Blackglama. Though it’s a little M.Jackson circa 1979, this sequined romper is unbelievably cute and a frickin’ steal at $30. Moonwalk, anyone?
