TDF Fridays…Mine All Myne

You know that saying about mi casa es su casa. Well, I usually put a twist on that whole concept. My version goes a little something like this- “What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is…well, mine too.” But since Easter just passed, I have decided to ease up on that and let y’all in on a lil fashion goodie. I give you the sartorial stylings of Ashley Ann’s Myne.

I spotted Myne in a recent edition of Elle and was so captivated by the simple-chic and super-short styles, I just had to do more research! And boy, did I enjoy my findings?

Myne is all about the feminine shape, but with a hipster sensibility. Unlike past TDF feature, Yoana Baraschi, Myne’s innate girliness is not captured through ruffles or lace. Instead, Ashley Ann infuses flirty silhouettes with jewel tones and bold prints for sexy, but edgy looks.

One of my favorites is this asymmetrical dress brought to life with a floral print totally reminiscent of Michael Kors’ Fall ’08 line. But rather than All-American sportswear, the Myne girl would rock this frock like an All-American reject ;)

It’s even so hip that lil miss Vanessa Hudgens was spotted rocking the same print in the miniskirt style. Though it pains my heart to find style inspiration from a HighSchoolMusician, Vanessa looked darling in the baby sister version of my dream dress. Dare I say she embodies the Myne mantra- rocker-girly-chic? Finding another pic of Mrs. Efron in a Myne mini, I must (sigh) admit that it’s true.

With tanks and skirts running near $200 and dresses in the $300-$400 range, Ashley Ann’s Myne is not for the light of wallet. But if splurging on a mini here and dress there, means that I too can live a life as leisurely and acting-free as V.Hudge, then where shall I swipe?
