That old saying “necessity is the mother of invention” really applies to former Hollywood stylist Jennifer Fisher‘s eponymous jewelry line. Unable to find the perfect piece to commemorate the birth of her son, Fisher took matters into her own hands…literally, and crafted her own line of PunkPrincess rings, bracelets and pendants. So, in this case perhaps “accessories are the mother of invention” ;)

Fisher offers designs that have plenty of funky flair, but can also be customized to each wearer with their initials or monograms. It’s personalization with plenty of personality. (Will I ever grow tired of alliteration? Nope, never!) I’ve always loved specialized accessories- Keds with my name puff-painted on, my initials on any plain tee and enough monogrammed silver to rival Tiffany’s. So for me, this personal element of Fisher’s line is what truly sets her apart from other jewelry designers. Yea…and the bevy of gold and diamonds doesn’t hurt either.

Though this line is Fisher’s brainchild, by offering over 4000 different charms and dog tags- all in a variety of metals and stones- wearers have the chance to make each piece their own.

With its celeb-cult following– famous fans include Kim Kardashian, Gwenyth Paltrow, Liv Tyler & Sarah Jessica Parker- it’s no shock that each JFish piece is pricey. But perfect personal style is pretty priceless.
