A very profound man once said that the best part about being wrong is that you can change your errant ways. Though this topic is not quite as philosophical, I still must admit wrong where wrong was done.
Rachel Zoe, I know I might have insinuated that your show was garbage. Faux-ality vom-com might have been my exact words…maybe. And there may have been snarky comments about your little guy Brad—but those tears had to go, honey!
Well, that was over a year ago and now RZ and I are the BESTIE of besties…ok, so we’re not giggling gal pals, but I did say hi to her outside of the Marchesa Presentation show last September Fashion week…and she spoke back! AGGGHHH! And I follow her on twitter, so if that’s not BFF basis these days, I don’t know what is.
Ok, so what is my atonement action plan? Devoting an entire post to the impeccable and confident style of the one Ms. Zoe. I’m fresh from sunny So-Cal, so what better Muse to choose?
Rachel’s style is so inspirational because, like many of our past Monday’s Muses, it is so distinct. From her fur accents to her equally over-sized sunnies and flares, every aspect of RZ’s ensembles is given an incredible amount of thought. I mean, even the least fashion-forward being knows that Rachel lives for a vintage 70’s style aesthetic. I appreciate a fashionista who understands the consideration necessary for true style. It may be hip and edgy to claim that all impeccable outfits are the offspring of spontaneity, but that, darling slights the entire process of fashion. And RZ not only gets that, but she disseminates this creed of chic.
Now, prepare to diiiiiieeeeeee…

And if you’re not getting the Zoe daily newsletter, you are OUT OF CONTROL…but in a bad way!
