Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of joining the lovely gals of USAToday for a special sneak peek of Karl Lagerfield’s collection for Macy’s. Thanks, LIFE Ladies!

Overall, the line is pretty fab with a few perfectly over-the-top Lagerfield moments. One of my fave fours was this sexy frock that turned the LBD into a LittleBlackDominatrixDress with its pops of sleek faux snakeskin. And I absolutely dieeedddddddd for the accompanying hooded vest of the same fabric. Hellllloooo, S&M convention!

Another fave was this klassic karl black and white graphic-print long-sleeved mini. The combo of prints and ever-so-dolman sleeves was just too fab!

My final pick was this uber-chic scarf that I first wrongfully accused of being a hideous tubetop, when it was really a gorgeous oversized wrap emblazoned with Mr. Lagerfeld’s sketches and signature.

Es tut mir Leid, Kaiser.

Though not every look hit the mark (sleeveless turtleneck, who invited you?), the entire collection reeks of Karl- in the most wonderful way possible of course. One look even has a mondo detachable white collar, while there is a whole slew of t-shirts that feature that posh ponytailed profile.
