i don’t know what has happened to me, but since moving to ny+getting my clarisonic, i have become one of those girls.

i know, i know. i’m southern, i’m fashion obsessed, i’m a libra for Godsakes!

but breaking the chains of thinking that concealer, mascara and blush were what made my face is bigger than those three factors. think about that for a minute. how many of us women believe to the depths of our souls that makeup makes us?

well, stumbling on the makeup blog beauty is boring has brought me to a more balanced place with my bare face faith.

the pared down look of the site allows for the talent of makeup artist/photog robin black to take center stage. and her use of great for day as well as completely over the top looks, on female and male faces alike helped me to validate that a red lip, smokey eye, contoured cheek, defined brow should be an accessory, never a necessity.
