i have been a blumarine fan for while. the line is feminine and sexy, while managing to be super fashion-forward- my dream style combination. i am even lucky enough to own ONE fabulous piece by the Italian house (thanks Mary Cate!)

but what took my love of blumarine over the edge was a feature that i read about four years ago on the head of the house anna molinari. her passion for not just beautiful clothing but for the love of life itself literally grabbed me from the pages of that bazaar or elle or whatever it was.

this is a woman who damn near stalked her husband to prove her adoration and loved him to the end of the earth till his untimely death in 2006.

the spring ’14 collection took me back to that captivating moment of discovering anna’s story for the first time. it is sensual and playful, but bold and sure. honestly, who can resist le vie en rose?
