my 28th birthday is this weekend and i am celebrating with family&friends in my beloved hometown.

one of the greatest joys of being in memphis, besides huggin’ my mama/laughing with my dad/being in awe of my grandparents, is putting on my (my my my my) boogie shoes for a night of heaven on earth at funky disco club raifords. i’ll be the one right behind the dj booth groovin’ till closing time to prince, tina turner, mj and kc/sunshine band, plastic cup full of champagne in one hand with the other in the foggy air.

the only thing that would make that moment even more of a dream come true would be this killer net-a-porter wishlist.

• i would pair this delicious lil silver number by finds with a black bra and either sophia webster’s crazy-ass sandal or b.atwood’s wildly disco-appropriate platform.
• i mean you can’t lose with tibi’s gold tafetta culotte jumpsuit or roksanda’s peekaboo version in shocking hot pink. gianvitto rossi pumps and gaudy-classic moschino cuff complete the look.
• what is more boogie nights than tattered flares (j.brand) and a tiny top? moschino’s gold leather is fucking to die for and miu miu’s metallic bra-top is a close second. no parking on the dance floor with finds’ vroom clutch
