during a “last moments of sunshine” stroll one sunday, i decided to capture the many faves i was wearing in the moment.
- most fave– my grandfather’s old work jeans are unabashedly perfect, and i can’t wear them without getting massive compliments. he was my favorite person on the planet, so it just fits.
- no-fuss accessories– i am rocking a whole lot of jewels, but they feel like nothing at all. my trio of non-negotiable necklaces (flea market herringbone, DY evil eye and Palestinian rosary); go-to Quay sunglasses; and the TJ Maxx gold hoops that are chunky, almost Jen Fisher subs
- walking cocktail- quarantine put roadies in play for all occasions. for this to-go drink, i was trying my best to recreate the tequila/mezcal/orange bitters cocktail from Beauty Shop- casamigos blanco, orange seltzer, and boatloads of lime/ice.
- the best belt- i really wanted the isabel marant lecce leather wrap belt, but wasn’t the most impressed when i saw it IRL. it took just a bit of patience, but i stumbled on this BR belt which is an incredible dupe. i absolutely love it both with denim (all shades) and cinching a jacket. et voila!
- bffs- oh the places these sweet stan smiths have gone in the past 6 years! i was just about to pitch them when the rundown sneaker look became the du jour. they are equally as no-fuss as my jewels because the more lived-in, the more stylish.
let my little sunday walkabout be an inspiration to capture all of your faves in any given moment! xx
