there are so many shorts everywhere these days.

the free people version, agolde denim, an amazon dupe of any lululemon whatever, target’s joylab brand making a very good case. it’s gotten so out of hand that my best friend actually asked me if she could bring soffes back! we are at an inflection point.

well, as is the storyline of this blog, i am a woman converted. during one of my many work trips to nashville, i popped into a cute active shop in 12s and stumbled on the most perfect p.e. nation sweatshorts. a green hue for the ages, slouch for days and just enough branding.

sweatshorts will be my preferred spring/summer short because when styled correctly, the vibe goes from influencer athleisure to a legitimately chic, but DGAF outfit- my absolute favorite look. my formula in the above pic: hand-me-down cashmere + minimal makeup + big buckle sandals = undeniably cool girl.

love this option from p.e. nation and these oatmeal-colored ones from gap. it’s not an easy style to find, but my eyes and heart are open.
