forever friend, jen.

Since the days of Rachel Green, Jen has proven that her ability to look stylish + timeless is without parallel in Hollywood.

Among all the other Jens, at a minimum.

This throwback red carpet look is flawless because it was Top 10 back in the early 2000’s and two decades later, is still hitting on every current trend.

  1. The BPE- big pant energy
  2. Pulled back hair with strategic wispies
  3. Low-key slivers of skin
  4. WGAFD- who gives a fuck diamonds (a Mimi trademarked term)

So much style, too few acronyms!

Every 2023 fashion gal is piling on Dorsey or Amazon “diamonds,” wide leg pants, hair clips and clean nails.

I just uncovered a 15-year old pair of Banana Republic trousers that will be back in the rotation, styled similarly to Jen but way more summer-casual. Mirroring Jen’s cool-girl designer style, I will pair my TBT pants with a very now high-cut ribbed tank, my new pearl vintage necklace, these beloved tkees Gemma and a micro French manicure.

Other fave Jen. A style moments, while we’re on the subject— Brooke’s entire wardrobe in The Break-Up, the skirts + dresses + Kevin Costner in Rumor Has It (yeesh! what timing), and minus the… breakup— the denim + white tees/tanks from the Vince Vaughn years.

Ok, off to binge an early aughts sitcom! Do not Mari Kondo your way out of a fun TBT like this. xx.
