I have uncovered my summer wardrobe.

PJs + Chanels.

(Plus an endless rotations of bikinis + baseball caps)

So maybe, the pajamas + CC slingbacks are my outside clothes.

TBQH, the match set has us all in a chokehold. And unbeknownst to many, this has been the case for quite some time now. Nearly 10 years ago, I was a buyer at Macy’s, ordering loads and loads of matching tops and bottoms for customers nationwide, who would not fully appreciate the concept until now.

While I love a play set, and picked up a super cool vintage tee and midi skirt just last week, the real freshness is in the jammies in the streets.

I was completely enchanted with an all-white boxers set from Net that I almost purchased but honestly forgot. A few weeks later, I stumbled on a pairing from GAP Factory (into the weeds, I know!), and now cannot wait to prance around London in my bed clothes!

As seen on screen, is this delightful set from Desmond and Dempsey that I got for a steal from Shopbop. I recently wore to lunch in Memphis with a ladylike jacket, summer hair and my Chanel flats- and was just very impressed with myself for the day.

The key to success is to wear the set like WHY WOULDN’T I TAKE THIS OUT OF THE BEDROOM? and coyly say, “it’s pajamas.” when anyone asks.

• the muted red/white combo with a pop of a pink shoe and very daytime makeup would be perfect for a bar dinner sit.
• i am nothing if not a girl who loves a good bandana print. it’s so chic, but also borderline tacky which is my style in several words. SCBABT
• the florals on top of the color blocking, how romantic! i would wear these to walk down the aisle.
