we know how much i love a good dinner moment. the outfits, the service, the vibessss.

however, over the course of the past couple months, i have really enjoyed… just eating, which for reasons we won’t get into here, has not always been the case.

flipping through my recents album, i took note of so many delicious snaps from 2024– a lot of homemade, sprinkles of takeout, a few standout cocktails, some sober curiosity and snacks galore.

this is a random post, yes, but also a really nice of reminder of where i’ve been the past six months and what has sustained me through my often insane schedule!

• row 1: i have mastered the @ home quesadilla– the key is flour tortillas + decades-old cast iron + exterior cheese lace; a fave dinner date moment with great hair and a side of sparkling rose; a girls’ raccoon dinner via fave local italian– dino’s (always get the toasted ravioli); 3 grocery store chicken wings is the perfect post-workout snack
• row 2: nashville’s greenery co. is equal parts totally delicious and aesthetic; maciel’s in memphis for some of the freshest, most consistent mexican east of texas; my dear friend kristi hosted me for dinner and made a restaurant-worthy lemon tart (i revisit this pic weekly!); a perfect spicy marg with a perfect SF backdrop
• row 3: possibly my fave matcha latte on earth c/o city silo in memphis; i have taken my green goddess obsession to the wrap + my version of the stanley cup in the background; NYC loading– a real downtown girl dinn @ sartiano’s and a most epic chicken salad from american bar in greenwich village!
• not pictured but also loving: non-alcoholic ghia is keeping me off the sauce! i absolutely die for the lime + salt sodas; i finally got to miznon newly opened in dallas and had to stop myself from eating an entire bag of perfectly marinated beef + onions– it is as good as they say; after a holiday dinner mishap, i made it to east nash local fave lockeland table 6 months later. go see kk, he’s an absolute doll!; speaking of nash, the coral club is in a weird ass spot but has a fire ass happy hour– so.much.crushed.ice.

one of my favorite sayings, “closed mouths don’t get fed.” well, one thing i know this year for sure is that i’m getting fed, baby! tell me about some of your fave ’24 meals Xx
