Something pretty radical happened to me summer of 2015- I chose peace over status. Not status meaning better than {insert name} but as in job title, city, proximity to things that are supposed to be top priority for a stylish, fast-paced 20-something.
To the dismay of quite a few, I gave up the name-brand experience of NYC and major retail and moved home. It took less than 24 hours for me to discover that happiness is not to be gotten but to be felt.
