As I’ve noted time and time again, Mimi is packing some brains behind all of this beauty ;) What good is a chiscter who doesn’t know Nicole Miller from Henry Miller?

Since I was a MiniMimi, I have loved nothing more than completely engrossing myself in the exciting storyline of some fantastic novel. I like envisioning every aspect of the main characters- from their looks, to their house, to the clothes they wear (DUH)

Well no one provides a better background for fictional fantasizing than the queen of the epic novel- Danielle Steele! So, when I spotted this Bazaar feature on her daughter Vanessa Traina’s chicer than chic apartment, I just knew I had to post.

There is something so gothic, yet glam about Ms. Traina’s posh pad. Could it be the ensemble of quirky nicknacks or the fact that she has enough skins to start a petting zoo?

Whatever it is, her place is plain ol’ cool and beyond HighEnd. But in a way that is still warm and homey.  It seems like the type of  space that invites you to both kick your shoes off and be insanely jealous of its overabundance of personality. DYYYYYYINGG over the Louis Vuitton trunk as coffee table.
