one peek at the pics on my phone and you will learn a few things- i’m equally obsessed with my nephew and documenting good looks in approx the same 3 locations.

it’s so ironic that i live for an outfit selfie because i literally haven’t owned a full length mirror since…maybe 2012.

but where there’s a will, there’s a mimi way!

these are a few hero looks in 2023, highlighting a slew of my absolute non-negotiable pieces. 

the standouts:

1. this blue and tan sweater is clearly that girl since she’s in 2/6= 1/3 of the pics. a random $25 find from a local boutique that elevates the life out of every look. it’s the perfect MPG (most popular girl) blue with a grounding neutral accent and just enough puff in the sleeve. a most beautiful girl in the world.
2. Tommy Girl! Staud’s beaded bag is haunting every 20/30-something you know. an endemic, i tell you! a gen z-er took one look at my madras beaded wonder and declared me a full SLAY, and babygirl was right. find this bag on sale in whatever pattern they’re offering, and you will wonder how you made it without her.
3. we’ve discussed my slvrlake situation, in fine detail, so i’ll just say nobody comes between me and my beatniks. 
4. the two items getting the most coast to coast play this year have been this v. random khaki minidress by significant other and my jcrew stevie calf hair boots. i paired them together for a feb nyc trip and was transformed into every manhattan rom-com star you’ve ever loved. andi anderson 2.0
5. some very good UK thrifted leather in the lefthand looks- the jacket has a gorgeous 80’s femme fatale cut, while the trousers are the perfect oversize, and both are best when paired with an overabundance of sweet pastels. if you’re in scotland, visit both locations of armstrongs!
6. saving the best for last, my new chanels literally give me heart palpitations. simply typing “my new chanels” makes me lightheaded with joy. they were purchased in london months before the tweeds were available again in the us, and the combo of the black grosgrain toe and swarm of white and pastel fabrics goes with every facet of my life. they are represented in 3 outta 6 of the pics. my other half!

i will do this post sporadically because most days i am either in workout wear begging myself to do MWH before sitting down at my desk, or pairing denim (re: slvrlakes) with a ribbed tank and slippers. 

but once i amass enough non full-length selfies for late spring/early summer, we’ll be back!
