Am I surprised that my favorite new nail color is named V? Well, hardly, V is the drug name for the uber-intoxicating vampire blood.

I didn’t think I had the makings for an addict, until (cue scary “some monster’s about to kill/beat/kidnap Sookie Stackhouse” music) I got my little hands on China Glaze’s creamy coral hue V. I am as serious as Lafayette’s eyeliner when I tell you that I wore this color for two months straight. Like all China Glaze shades, it was a funky, but wearable color that commanded compliments wherever I went. I was a woman possessed&obsessed as every five days I re-painted my nails til they shone perfectly peachy. Buh-bye, Mademoiselle! Nice knowing ya, Lincoln Park After Dark! I only had eyes (and fingers) for V.

I’ve since kicked my V addiction down a notch or two- fingers every other week, toes…well, all the time. But in celebration of another Summer Sunday with my Bon Temps buddies, I am putting it on thick! Hey V, I’m gonna do real real bad things to you ;)
