For some reason, I am super excited for the Emmy Awards tonight! Maybe I’m still feeling the celeb love from NY Fashion Week…or perhaps, my obsession for all things tube is ooozing out. Whatever the case may be, I thought it would be fun to give you Mimi’s winners. Check ’em out and then give me yours!

Best Series Drama: Torn in between the two- stand-by fave Mad Men or new fave Damages? After being in a Netflix-coma with Glenn Close and Co., I’m going with Damages in this category.

Best Series Comedy: No question- 30 Rock! Tina, Tracy and Alec turned a sappy romance, boy-meets-girl storyline lover into a guffawing “I <3 Liz Lemon” 30 Rockstar!

Best Actor Drama: Don Drap- I mean Jon Hamm. The 60’s never looked so good…

Best Actor Comedy: Alec Baldwin– I haven’t loved him more since Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!

Best Actress Drama: Since Steel Magnolias, I have adored Sally Field. She continues to win my heart every Sunday night on Bros&Sis.

Best Actress Comedy: Love Liz’s glasses, love Liz’s total social awkwardness, lovelovelove Liz Lemon. Tina Fey all the way!

Grey has never looked so good! *eonline.com*

Best Supporting Actor Drama: Sexy silver fox John Slattery has my vote on looks alone ;)

Best Supporting Actor Comedy: I’m gonna change the rules a little bit since this is my Emmy’s fantasy and vote for Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer. They are 30 Rock’s most dynamic duo!

Best Supporting Actress Drama: As much as I love Sandra Oh (and her perfect curly coifs), I have to go with the exceptional Chandra Wilson, who delivers layered, pitch-perfect performances every Thursday night.

Best Supporting Actress Comedy: To Willy or not to Willy? Although I have literally almost died laughing at Jane Krakowski’s completely out-of-touch with reality Jenna, my inner fashionista forces me to pick Vanessa William’s divalicious and diabolical Wilhelmina Slater.

Best Lead Actress, Miniseries or Movie: Chicken Dah-lin’ there’s no question that Drew Barrymore is the clear winner. She stole the show and my heart with her spot-on performance of tragic Little Edie!

All right, HighEnders, I gave my picks, now lemme see yours! The show airs on CBS tonight @8/7C. Happy Emmys Sunday!

  1. I loved most of the winners- except Jon f’in Cryer (exsqueeze me?) But the fashion was MONDO boring. Time to get wild and crazy, TV Land!
