Last week, my hilarious, equally fashion-obsessed cousin DWJ honored me with the Kreativ Blogger Award. Thankya thankya very much! Well, I not only had to post about this exciting occasion, but I also have to hold up my end of the bargain. (Fame can be soooo exhausting!)

So as a Kreativ Blogger Award Winner, I must:

Well, Mimi’s got some homework, so let’s get crackin’!

1. When I was a child…16 is legally still a child… I thought that found signs for pets were a family joyfully announcing that they had found their missing dog, cat, parakeet, etc so everyone could stop looking. I was devastated when I found out what it actually meant.
2. I really do love thee Notre Dame. Football Saturdays are my Christmas and Doomsday, all wrapped up in one 3-hour game. I am a lunatic for ND football- don’t try me, just trust me.
3. I absolutely adore my grandfather. He is literally my most treasured possession. Funniest. Man. Living.
4. I think about potential outfits every single second of the day. Ok, so maybe that’s not a shock, but its bad- like dudes with sex and sandwiches and football. A.D.I.D.A.S. (All Day I Dream About…Style)
5. I can’t wait to meet a nice guy…like an actual, really nice guy. I typically go for the nutty buddies- and I ain’t talkin’ ice cream.
6. Steel Magnolias is my absolute favorite movie of all time—it’s hilarious Southern women who love celebrating holidays and would go to the ends of the earth for friendship. Sound like someone you know? O, and be warned- I know every line and will recite them through the whole movie. Yepppp, I’m one of those.
7. I love classic rock from the 60s and 70s. Steely Dan, Foreigner, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, The Cars, The Eagles, Boston, Journey (& not just “Don’t Stop Believing”), Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top…should I really keep going? I credit (or blame) my Dad, who blasted AC/DC and banged on the steering wheel of his Volvo every morning on the way to school. You heard it right, Mimi must rock!

4. Chic Intuition (@chicintuition) I once was lost, but now I’m Chic Intuitioned. My. Fave. Fashion.Blog. Period. (Well, beside my own lil RearEnd of course ;)) The graphics are amazing, and the fashions are A-MAH-ZING. Yea, you know the difference.
5. Beauty Banter (@beautybanter) The haute blog for all of your beauty needs- from the leading liquid liner to creating perfect hippie waves. And I adore the guest celeb beauty picks!
6. Chickdowntown (@chickdowntown) It’s not just the chic clothes on Chickdowntown owner Amy Reed’s blog that impress me. It’s her awesome daily giveaways- everything from Twilight tees (they’re cute I swear) to Rachel Leigh cuffs. This generosity really stands out on the online boutique scene!
7. Monica Rose (@monicarosestyle) I stumbled on this stylist to the stars through the Kardashian Klan, and I haven’t looked back since. My love of MoRo goes farrrr beyond a case of near-fatal career envy. She is genius at picking edgy and totally TDF images, clothes and accessories. Kim, Kourt and Khlo should ALL name their first born children Monica, Rose or something!
