it has rained incessantly this year up&down the east coast. i know i’m the queen of the exaggeration, but i swear there’s been a downpour a week since march. and don’t even get me started on that damn hurricane.

well, i’ve decided that if we can’t beat ’em (being the rain), we might as well join ’em- but only if outfitted in the puddle poshest!

1. If you just cannot part from your platforms even on a rainy day, these Gabriella Rocha duck boots add some serious sex appeal to puddle-jumping!
2. Hunters have become the new Longchamp tote, Ugg boot, MKors Watch…you’re not a truly American girl without them! While I haven’t joined the rainbooted masses yet, if I were to, I could only do it in pewter faux snakeskin.
3. Annnnnd I would most def pair my snake Hunters with Marc Jacobs’ genius python-printed umbrella. That pop of neon green would go perfectly with my MF jacket!
4. Hello, TDF F21 Burberry knock-off! Is there anything naughtier than a see-through trench ;)
5. My roommate bought these patent puppies from Zara last weekend and she is absolutely smitten…and I think I am too.
6. O.M.G. Marc Jacobs stop your streak of stormy weather perfection! This raintote complete with a matching umbrella clearly inspired Singing in the Rain. Clearly.

one of my favorite pieces in my closet is my H&M lace-print raincoat that I got a million years ago on a suuuper sunny trip to Chicago- you know me, such a planner! another fave is my electric green millard fillmore parka that adds a nice shot of neon to a dreary day. well don’t get caught in a storm without your rainy-weather most stylish!
